Frequently Asked Questions

  • I provide individual counseling for adults and teens, as well as couples and men’s group counseling for Colorado residents. I also offer workshops, which are open to anyone who wishes to improve the quality of communication and trust within their organization.

  • An individual 50-minute session is $160. Acceptable forms of payment include all major debit and credit cards, including FSA/HSA cards.

If cost is a barrier, please reach out to discuss what you can afford to spend on therapy.

  • I am considered an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance at this time.

However, I can provide you with a superbill, or medical receipt, that you can submit to your health insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Some insurance policies provide reimbursement, whether partial or full, while others do not.

Please check your coverage carefully by calling your insurance provider (their number can be found on the back of your insurance card under “Members” or “Member Services”) and asking the following questions:

    1. What are my out-of-network healthcare benefits for behavioral health in an outpatient setting?

    2. Do I have to meet a certain deductible before receiving any reimbursement? If so, has it been met?

    3. What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

    4. How do I submit my superbill?

    5. What does timely filing look like for submitting my superbill?

    6. How will I receive my reimbursement?

  • I understand that investing in any relationship is a big deal — especially a relationship with a therapist.

I offer a complimentary 20 minute phone consultation for us to get to know each other a little and to see if it seems like we would be a good fit before scheduling an initial session.

My goal for you is to find a therapist that you feel safe + known with, and if I’m not the best fit for you, I have a list of incredible referrals I would be happy to provide you with.

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy aside from unexpected emergencies. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
